Harriet was an American band from Los Angeles, California, fronted by songwriter and keyboard player Alex Casnoff, with Henry Kwapis on drums, Patrick Kelly on electric bass, and Matt Blitzer on guitar. History The band was formed in 2011 when Alex Casnoff left Dawes in order to pursue his own music. The band then consisted of Casnoff, Henry Kwapis, and Aaron Harrison Folb. The trio was joined by guitar player and engineer Sean O'Brien to record their first EP ''Tell The Right Story'' at The Hangar recording studio in Sacramento, California. O'Brien was unable to permanently join the band, but recommended fellow guitarist Adam Gunther, who ended up joining them for live shows in support of the EP, as well as for the video shoot of the single from the EP entitled "I Slept With All Your Mothers." ''Harriet'' is a 1943 American play by Florence Ryerson and Colin Clements. Background The original production was directed by Elia Kazan and starred Helen Hayes. It ran for 377 performances. Hayes had enjoyed several successes playing historical figures and heard about a play on Harriet Beecher Stowe. She and her producing partner Gilbert Miller watched it being performed in an experimental production at Syracuse University and optioned it. Miller was originally going to direct the play but Elia Kazan was brought in to direct it. The play was very popular, though little remembered now; Kazan received a great deal of acclaim although he put the play's success mostly down to Hayes. Fleetwood Museum is a local history and maritime museum in the English seaside town of Fleetwood, Lancashire. The museum was originally the town's Customs House and, completed in 1836, was one of the first buildings constructed in Fleetwood. Like much of the town it was designed by architect Decimus Burton.
